Letting People Go

In my lifetime God has removed people out of my life including family members or sometimes he has made it clear that these people do not belong in my life.I won’t tell you it’s easy, more often than not it’s quite painful at least initially but the peace that inevitably comes almost immeadiately after is a sign to me that God is with me and he knows what he’s doing. It dosent makes sense to me at the time but later on I usually can see the reasoning and im greatful and humbled by his love for me.It’s comforting to know we have a Father who knows our hearts so intricately and even when we offend him he is always caring for us arranging our lives to the smallest detail.Everything he sends to us is for our good even suffering. We should constantly say to him lovingly,”thy holy will be done in all things,in all areas of my life” knowing his will for our lives will surpass all our expectations and is greater than even anything we could dream up.Think of the simplest saints who came from nothing who God raised up to become the greatest saints!A saint once said:”few know what greatness God would do in a soul if only they would surrender completely to him!So let those people go when God removes them from your life because God sends people into our lives for a season,a reason or a lifetime.Maybe that season is over and it’s time to embrace another beautiful season full of surprises?!Our God is a God of surprises…by clinging to yesterday we miss out on where he’s trying to lead us today!

Fly from bad companions as from the bite of a poisonous snake. If you keep good companions, I can assure you that you will one day rejoice with the blessed in Heaven; whereas if you keep with those who are bad, you will become bad yourself, and you will be in danger of losing your soul.
